Squirrel sets out to discover what a resolution is and how to make one in this New Year's picture-book from author Pat Miller and illustrator Kathi Ember.
Although not entirely convinced by the story premise here—I would think that a resolution would have be a conscious goal, rather than an unconscious impulse, but perhaps that's just me—I nevertheless enjoyed the book. The story is sweet, and the artwork cute.

1) Do more bookish cooking recipes
2) Read only the books I am interested in. Don‘t waste my time reading a book I don‘t like DNFing a book isn‘t the end of the world
3) Be more active in the bookish community and make friends

4) Shopping small business for books and #bookish merch
pickSamantha Irby is always a relatable read for me, and one that's guaranteed to make me laugh. This is only about 25 pages long (when I read it on my phone), and is basically a list of resolutions and why she didn't complete them. Not life-changing, but I enjoyed it
I guess I'm too cynical to be a #NewYearNewYou person; I vibe much more with Sam Irby's take. That said, mad respect for folks who take this time of year to set goals and make resolutions! You are focused and motivated and totally #admirable! #InspiredNewYear #JumpIntoJanuary
