pickFinished this book today. I‘ve read Revelations before on my own but this verse by verse study made it make more sense. Revelations isn‘t written in order of events but in layers, building on top of other events. If reading this book of the bible has confused or intimidated you, I totally recommend getting this to help clarify things. Very interesting and eye-opening.
Any #readathons going on? We have holed up awaiting the arrival of Storm Eunice in the early morning hours, so I figure I'll just read from now until it blows over (apparently on Monday). bailedMeh, At first was Interesting but the second half of the book was boring. Way to bogged down In the metaphors and symbols of Revelation. Which if you like that then you will enjoy the book. I was interested in how the Mass mimics Revelations and that part of the book was interesting.
I feel like he could just of ended it there. Anyway I‘m not a catholic so don‘t take my review as gospel , pun intended.
pick4✨ This is a faith based book. The main message in this book is you need to find a quiet place to really listen. Each chapter is filled with advise and encouragement. Definitely a good read if you are struggling. Just finding time to listen can help with many struggles a person may be going through.
