I don't really know what I was expecting diving into this book, but I was pleasantly surprised. I love the humor of this dark romance. I'm definitely going to continue on in the series.
Book 23 of 2025! This is classified as dark romance with lots of trigger warnings, but it was also full of dark humor if you‘re into that. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From the get go Olivia and Malachi couldn‘t be more different when it comes to superficial looks and likings. Where she‘s all fluffy unicorns and rainbows, he‘s all gloomy, dark mystery and sadness. Overall I enjoyed this dark somewhat pitch black book where dubious choices were made and characters tried to redeem themselves into becoming better people for others. Yet screwdrivers will never ever be looked at the same again.
Hear my top read so far for 2025. Am I being a little biased with Lights Out? Yes, yes I am. And I‘m OK with this. That book had me rolling I was laughing so hard. Sometimes that‘s what you really need.
I have a lot of thoughts about why You became so popular. I think it might have something to do with the fact that – aside from anything else – it‘s a story about a man who cares very deeply about a woman. Yes, in a very sick and twisted way, but still. So I'm almost done and like I loved it so far! It's spicy but not overly spicy
I‘m not usually a dark romance fan, but I genuinely enjoyed this one. The jokes had me laughing out loud. I mean who wouldn‘t fall for a guy who liked your cat.
@5feet.of.fury Thank you for the great recommendation! This kept me entertained for the entirety of my 8 hr drive.
