Book 63 of 2022! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We moved our red chair to our bedroom, so I have a reading nook now. It comes with two reading buddies!
Book 45 of 2022. I love Holly Black‘s children‘s and YA books, but this one was just so-so for me. I liked the main character, but the magic system was kind of confusing and it was very slow to start. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book 35 of 2022! So good! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book 17 of 2022. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved this YA historical fiction account of the Romanian Revolution! It‘s definitely not something I know much about.
My year in books so far. I may have to readjust my goal. I didn‘t think I would read as many as I have, so far, but I‘ve had some uninterrupted reading time thanks to the breakthrough COVID case I picked up somewhere.
What a beautiful memoir about growing up non-binary. I really hope e comes out to the students e teaches comic writing to next time.
Book 1 of 2022! I can‘t wait to read the next one! I loved it!
Hubby got me a Kindle Oasis for Christmas and a Barnes & Noble gift card. I‘m a happy camper!
Book 52 of 2021. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I wanted to like this book more than I did. However, I could not get past the way Hadley talked - there were way to many aint‘s and don‘t gottas for me. Otherwise, I loved the premise of Hadley, a young girl who is going through some very difficult childhood trauma, working with a depressed shelter dog and figuring some things out about herself along the way.
On candy duty tonight! It‘s a perfect night to sit outside and read The Perks of Loving a Wallflower!
Lord of the Flies meets The Hunger Games ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book 44 of 2021! Only 11 more to go to meet my 2021 goal of 55. This was cute, but I liked The Soulmate Equation better. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book 42 of 2021! A creepy, Gothic Cinderella story with a Faustian twist! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I thought it started slowly, but I ended up enjoying it.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am a HUGE fan of Helen Hoang‘s books. This is her third book, and while it dealt with some heavier subject matter than the first two, I loved it! In her author note, she mentions that the book is half-memoir, so she actually experienced some of what went on in the story. I just love that her books have main characters on the autism spectrum. The Heart Principle was well worth the wait to read!
Book 31 of 2021. I just love the Sookie Stackhouse books and we got HBOMAX so I can finally watch True Blood! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book 30 of 2021! I am NOT a fan of scary/horror novels, but I love Darcy Coates! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book 29 of 2021. Sometimes you just need a Happily Ever After! ❤️
Book 28 of 2021. I liked this book, but not as much as the first one. I felt like it was a long setup for the next book. Will I read the third book? Of course...and the ones after it! 🤣😂 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book 27 of 2021. I forgot how much I liked these! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had a hard time getting into this at first, but once I did, it was so good! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Got my #BOTM picks! So excited! I wanted the Taylor Jenkins Reid one, also, but I had to limit myself. 😂🤣
I just discovered Mary Higgins Clark and I love her! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book 21 of 2021. This was a really good mystery/thriller. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book 20 of 2021! Soooo good! I couldn‘t put this one down!
Book 19 of 2021. I like Laura Clery from her Facebook videos, but hadn‘t realized she struggles with addiction.
This was just what I needed after a rough couple of weeks.
We had to put this sweet old man to sleep last night and I have to stay home with my quarantined son today, so I am hanging out with my other dog and hoping to finish Children of Blood and Bone for my book club today. 💔
Book 15 of 2021. Raw and gritty dystopian/science fiction survival story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book 14 of 2021. A very powerful story of the impact of police brutality on a community. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
