Such a beautiful weekend & so much to be thankful for ❤️

🌻 A small but wonderful #bookhaul from my beloved charity shop yesterday.

🌻 The comfiest chair given to me by my sister, which has made the perfect secluded reading corner in my little house.

🌻 And to top it off, an early morning walk & the stunning views of my hometown.

🌻 Now home, for a large mug of tea & a hour or so reading.

BekahB That tea looks so good! I just received the tea box I ordered on Etsy. I was keeping my tea crammed in the back of a cupboard so I always forgot about it. Now that I have a lovely tea box sitting on my kitchen counter, I foresee more moments of enjoying tea with my books. 😄 8y

ej0728 I'm halfway through this and am bummed I'm going to have to wait so long for the third one. I enjoy the evolution of the characters while the romance takes a bit of a backseat. 8y

AnnaDesourdy @ej0728 I tend to find that the YA genre can be very contrived and not very realistic. Oddly enough I read a book in June that was not fantasy fiction and I found it to be less believable than this one 😂 8y

ej0728 @AnnaDesourdyAuthor I agree about the YA genre, but I find their fantasy books actually quite enjoyable. The genre suffers from a lot of contrived and trite story lines. 8y
