pickCorduroy is a classic novel. This adorable heartwarming story that all children should be exposed to in their life time. The illustrations are incredible and beautifully colored. The illustrations are in more of a sketch like drawings and the colors used in the illustrations are calm and inviting. The images on the pages don't take up the whole page but are detailed enough that you don't even need to read the words.

My parents and older siblings read to me. (I‘m 15, 17 & 19 years younger than my siblings) One of my earliest memories is of my mom reading Corduroy to me. It‘s still my favorite picture book.
There are many different variations of the original book that I would love to incorporate into my classroom.
pickPicture Book. Published 1968. This is another amazing classic children‘s picture book that I read growing up. This is a great read and was also mentioned as one of the “Teachers Top 100 Books for Children”. One of my favorite books of all time!
