As a thriller lover, I could not resist doing the thrilling thriller book tag on #BookTube! https://youtu.be/raX-ZG6DD5A

EadieB @Butterflyamore Enjoyed your video as usual. I haven't read Heather Gundenkauf but will add her to my TBR. I'll have to check out Silent Child also. I have read all of Jennifer McMahon's books and have loved them all. I loved Defending Jacob but I think you already read that one. I think you have not read The Chalk Man yet. I be answering your questions below. 5y
EadieB @Butterflyamone
1. Thriller last bought: The Dark Rose by Erin Kelly. I haven't read The Poison Tree yet or any books by Erin Kelly but I heard she was good and I just got her books at a library sale.

2. Thriller just added to my TBR:
Losing You by Nicci French.
Nina Landry has given up city life for the isolated community of Sandling Island, lying off the bleak east coast of England. At night the wind howls. Sometimes they are cut off by the incoming tide. For Nina though it is home. Nina's teenage daughter Charlie fails to return from a sleepover on the day they're due to go on holiday, the island becomes a different place.

EadieB @Butterflyamore Oh I thought you would have read more by Jennifer McMahon after reading Promise Not To Tell. 5y

3. Thriller with High Expectations:
Something In The Water by Catherine Steadman.
I didn't like the main protagonist. I thought she was very unlikeable and I didn't care about her at all. Even the plot was a bit unbelievable. The title is the best part of the book because it creates an interest but I was very disappointed when it wasn't something that would be exciting like a body or something you would expect from a thriller.

4. What aspect do I hate in Thrillers.
Explicit Sex and Language. Was disappointed in YOU by Carolyn Kepnes and Second Life by S.J. Watson

5. Underrated Thriller
No Exit by Taylor Adams
A kidnapped little girl locked in a stranger's van. No help for miles. What would you do? Darby Thorne decides she needs to do something about this situation. This book is definitely an edge of your seat thriller. It was a fast-paced read with well-developed characters. Lots of surprise twists kept the pages turning. It would definitely make for an excellent movie.

6. Pick 3 - 2 read and 1 not read:

7. Beginners Thriller
The Woman In the Window by A.J. Finn

8. All Time Favorite Thriller:
One of my favorites - Hard to pick #1
The Silent Patient by Alex Michaeledes
Alex Berenson's life is seemingly perfect until she shoots her husband five times in the face and never speaks another word. Criminal psychotherapist Theo Faber jumps at the opportunity to work with her. This is a spellbinding psychological thriller about violence, obsession, and the dark side of passion.

abookishbutterfly @EadieB I haven‘t read anything else by her, although I have two of her books! Haha! I do want to read more of her work but I‘m really making up for lost time now. When I was raising my kids, reading time was scarce, as I was a single mom and I didn‘t generally get a break. So my TBR list just grew without a lot of time to dedicate to it! I figured (hoped) that would throw people off in the game! Haha 5y
abookishbutterfly @EadieB I‘m going to guess Bring Me Back as the thriller you haven‘t read. I loved The Silent Patient, too. No Exit was definitely an entertaining story. 5y
EadieB @Butterflyamore I haven't read Blood Orange yet. I figured if I put that first you would think I read it. lol 5y
