April 18, 2024 I am on page 180. At this point in the book, Maya is upset with Aubrey bc Frank was trying to make a move on her. Frank even gave her a book that he thought she might like. Aubrey tells Maya that she did not want to get into a relationship with Frank. Frank made the move on her instead. Frank was seen with Aubrey drinking blended coffees together; which gave her a message, probably the wrong message

The Drowning Woman | Robyn Harding

Pickpick

Lee is homeless due to a variety of reasons, Hazel is desperate to get away from her monster of a husband. Lee saves Hazel's life when she tries to drown herself and their lives become entangled. Little does either woman know that they are both being manipulated. It bogs down in the middle but the beginning and end are good.

April 16, 2024 Hmmm... Now the story is picking up constant pace. Heads up: The story goes back and forth so one who reads the book will have to keep track of story line themselves. Some chapters talk about Maya and her mom Brenda (the relationship they have) and Maya and Aubrey (a good friend of Maya). Maya is trying to figure out what happened to Cristina. She thinks that Frank, the librarian, killed Cristina. She is trying to search for clues.

April 15, 2024 I began this book in hopes of being able to start another thriller while reading Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood. Love, Theoretically is kind of slow-burning, and doesnt get to the climax that fast. I feel like thrillers start out fast and get even faster!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Freida #3 This was fun! She writes some wild plots and I‘m here for them. I know this one is popular and I can see why. It was very twisty, as expected. I usually try and keep it spoiler free, but I was happy when Nina‘s sadistic husband dehydrated to death in the attic after ripping his own teeth out 😃 I can‘t imagine how this is a trilogy? But I think I‘m gonna read it lol
