Never Lie | Freida McFadden

A classic Freida McFadden twist! An exciting book about some very messed up people, “Never Lie” contains more than one person who isn‘t telling the truth. Read in only two days! The typical way I handle Freida books.

Start reading this book and January 31. I am almost done and I can‘t wait to finish it so I can start on another one.

In another gripping mystery by Freida McFadden, unlike The Maid series, there‘s no room for vigilante justice. The story follows a couple in search of their dream home, and they think they‘ve found it—until they discover something dark🌚 lurking beneath the surface. With no other choice, the couple must rely on their wits to uncover the truth. The revelation at the heart of the story is truly jaw-dropping.

I enjoyed this #Audio book. The “then” and “now” way of telling a story . Overall a soft pick. #OffTheShelf2025

Librariana The cutiepie on the couch seems pretty perfect to me! ? Glad you got this audiobook "off the shelf" ☺️ Is it one you own and think you'll reread in the future? Or was it a library borrow? Feel free to ignore my questions ? Just curious. 5d
ElizaMarie @Librariana It was “free“ with Audible. So I didn't purchase it. I doubt I would re-listen to this one. It wasn't a “comfort“ type of listen either, so I just don't see it in the cards of re-listening.

That little monster, Conor, is my little terror! He sucks on his toys like they are pacifiers. It's kinda cute because it lulls him to sleep.

Right off the bat the first thing I loved about the audiobook for The Butcher is the use of multiple narrators; I love how they each give their character an individual voice and personality. I especially enjoyed how Shank was portrayed by Coffey. I mostly enjoyed the story itself as. The end left a lot to be desired; it was way too anticlimactic. I also struggled to like many of the characters; oddly Shank was my favorite.

First day off after some a really rough week of work (and training a new employee). I have a ton of laundry to catch up! Good thing I am pretty engrossed in this #Audio.
