Mehso-so

Published in 1994 this picture ONLY book tells a story through these wonderful illustrations of a time when dinosaurs walked the land. I think picture only books are really great for young children. They can still tell what is happening from the pictures but do not need to know how to read so that's great.

Rossetti: Poems | Christina Rossetti

“Time lengthening, in the lengthening seemeth long:
But ended Time will seem a little space,
A little while from morn to evensong,
A little while that ran a rapid pace;
A little while, when once Eternity
Denies proportion to the other‘s pace.”

Pickpick

I finished this #blameitonLitsy audiobook on the road today and glad for the recommendation. The premise is that certain folks age very slowly, the mc in current times is 400+ years old. He has a daughter whom he has lost track of and much of the book he is trying to find her across centuries, while also trying to deal with a potential new love and manage old friendships. The story continually kept my interest. The narrator was terrific.

CWilson Maybe I should try listening to this! I borrowed a digital copy from the library and I DNFed it at like 50 percent so maybe the audio will keep my interest more! 3w
Texreader @CWilson I‘m sorry to hear that and have been wondering if I‘d have done the same thing with the book. I thought the narrator was terrific and really kept it moving. So maybe try the audio. Good luck! 3w

I listened to this one for about 2-1/2 hours while doing housework. In that time the mc has met both William Shakespeare and F Scott Fitzgerald and Zelda.
