Finally a cool day and I feel, like cooking. This is a broccoli and tofu stir fry from one of my favourite vegan cook books.

Continuing to plow through books that have been sitting on my shelf for too long…Started this one yesterday and I‘m loving it so far!
A wonderfully written comprehensive account of the arguments against using and abusing non human animals. A book that appeals to reason rather than emotions and that employs emotive language minimally. The philosophy visited throughout the book is made accessible and digestible to all. I am in awe of this book and of Peter Singer‘s writing and dedication to the cause of animals rights. I hope enough of us will have the open mind to read it.
#litsycrafters a gorgeous charcuterie, crafted by my SIL & I ❤️ #vegan #tofurkeydinner

A “kind” cookbook for #KindnessDay 🧡
One of many vegan cookbooks I own, I haven‘t made a lot of the recipes in it but the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups are really good.

I just spent the whole afternoon going through my Litsy TBR list, removing duplicates, books I already own but neglected to remove, books I no longer want to read, and books that I have no idea how they got on my list to begin with, including the tagged book. Very satisfying activity.
Now I will reward myself with a book purchase, as one does. 🤣
Today I worked the 5th anniversary for the sanctuary I volunteer at, Pegasus Animal Sanctuary🐖🐄🐓 Along with the ribbon cutting for our Education Centre!📚
We had the wonderful Gene Baur himself, come out and do a book signing and guest speech!👏🏻
Copper Branch was also there and selling these amazing beanies, so of course I had to get me and the hubby matching ones!😁
I just found out there's a new edition of The Pornography of Meat out. May need to own.
A weird title because without looking at the subheading you‘d think this was anti-vegan. I don‘t think this will turn a meat eater vegan, but it might help you decide if you‘re thinking about it or you‘re eating a mixed or vegetarian diet. The relentless descriptions of animal cruelty are tough going but people need to stand up against such brutality. Works well on an E-reader as points supported with live links to research etc. 🌱8/10 plants
