Today I worked the 5th anniversary for the sanctuary I volunteer at, Pegasus Animal Sanctuary🐖🐄🐓 Along with the ribbon cutting for our Education Centre!📚

We had the wonderful Gene Baur himself, come out and do a book signing and guest speech!👏🏻

Copper Branch was also there and selling these amazing beanies, so of course I had to get me and the hubby matching ones!😁

As you may not know, I am a volunteer at an animal sanctuary in southern Ontario that helps rescue abused farm animals!❤️🐷

Today is Giving Tuesday, a day to give back after the chaos of Black Friday and Cyber Monday!

We are raising funds for the completion of our education centre where we can continue to educate our community!

Farm sanctuaries are life changing, both for the residents that live safely away from a system that breeds them for food, and for the visitors who learn about that system. When I first met a turkey, that #beautifulstranger completely changed my impression of others like him.

Animals are amazing and I'm grateful to have the chance to visit with them. I celebrate my veganniversary on Thanksgiving every year.
