Super fun to read about the past of Celaena Sardothien. She‘s the type of badass person I want to be but in this prequel I found he kind of annoying. She wasn‘t the person she turns out to be in the series but I still rather enjoyed her story. Sam ripped my heart out and threw it in a fire. I‘ll never recover :(

This book was heavy and sort of hard to relate with personally but I finished the book within the day. This book dealt with sexual abuse, rape, murder, mental illness and finding who we are. I found it challenging to read some of the time but enriching all the same.

Super fun entertaining read! I loved the mystery and mythical creature elements that were entangled throughout the novel. Jackaby was a mystery within himself and Abigail was such a joy from beginning to end. There wasn‘t a lot of romance and just the perfect amount of action and mystery.

“A Study In Charlotte” was the perfect Sherlock Holmes retelling, for me at least. It wasn‘t a super hard read and I read it fairly quickly too. I really enjoyed Charlotte and Jamie‘s relationship and I liked how the book kind of dealt with some touchy subjects. Definitely will be picking up “The Last or August” soon.

I am obsessed with this book. I finished it probably 2 months ago but I haven‘t stopped thinking about it since I put it down! It has the perfect mix of badass female characters, murder, mystery, love, and books! Mia Corvere has slayed my souls and I need to read Godsgrave ASAP.

Picked this up just in time for the movie release and it did not disappoint. I loved Simon and how relatable he could be as a character. This book spoke to me on a spiritual level due to all the Harry Potter and music references. I need more Simon in my life and I‘m pumped to see the movie.

I wasn‘t really sure how much I enjoyed reading this book until I was done reading it and realized I had read 555 pages in two days.. let‘s just say I ate it up. It was the perfect mix of characters that I could relate back to popular superheroes and characters that were completely new to me.
