The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend has it all. It is a book for every person. I‘m glad I read it. Full review on my blog.

Powerful story! Excellent insight into Pakistani culture and an eye opener for women's rights. Naila's story is worth reading.

I can't join the pack who adore this one. Don't get me wrong those final scenes are emotional and had me sobbing, but when you look at the big picture nothing justifies what happens in the end. I thought it was a quite selfish and contradictory decision.

AmyAgentBor It's not a choice I would make but as a RN I have seen people in that much pain. It's hard to argue against allowing someone to make that decision when we don't want to watch dogs suffer. 8y
Anna4031 I felt the same, I loved the story, but just could not enjoy or appreciate the ending. The selfish act, and leaving everyone in their grief just couldn't be ok with me. I will compromise and agree that we each have a right to our own choices. Though I don't agree with his choice, it was his to make. 8y

If you're looking for a book with a clear storyline, a conflict, an unforgettable climax and a well rounded ending this is NOT the book for you. A quote from the MC's daughter in the end and that final "chapter" (if you can call them chapters cuz they're so short) are the 2 things I take from this.
