I loved the artistic and inspirational side to this book, but my personal experiences couldn't relate and I didn't feel strongly or connected in most poems. I still think Rupi did a great job at forming a small narrative in this book of poems and would recommend this if you are new to poetry.

I knew I was going to enjoy this book! I didn't rlly know much goin into it other than its a YA mystery novel about a girl in a town where things disappear. I didn't know it was going to be a whirlwind of a journey with Shakespeare, friendship and family issues!

PREDICTION: The Shakespeare book was meant to be sent to Stefen before/after Juliet died. But it didn't get sent and therefore Aila got the Stone(ring) and book. Stefen probably comes back to the town because he got news that Aila arrived and stole her necklace. And now both stories will meet up soon coz the months are closer now!!

Okay, so I think it's that mysterious other guy who is Phineas son who took the necklace. Like it makes sense. Phineas wanted it and the guy said he was gonna get it back and then it disappears chapters earlier! For now, it's the only plausible explanation! I have no idea how Juliet is involved tho, but am keen to find out! More spoiler-y discussions to come!

Peter Pan is unlike anything else I've ever read as a teenager. It was so whimsical and funny, and made me remember my childhood days where I used to read/listen to stories and fairytales. I give the story as a whole a 3.5/5 stars, the narration a 4/5 stars and the effect it gave me a 3.5/5 stars. Total rating: 3.5/5 stars ✨
