The Book Thief | Markus Zusak

Mehso-so

This book follows a young girl named Leslie and her foster parents. It shows her struggles as a girl in Germany during WW2. It is narrated by death, but don't let that scare you away! It is a strange and beautiful way to tell the story. It was a slow read for me, but it was extremely well written.

Pickpick

(If you have not been spoiled for this book yet, I applaud you. Now go child, read it before you are exposed.)
This book was a tear jerker. It follows a teenager with cancer named Hazel, and it is the story of how she fell in love with another teen named Augustus after they meet at a cancer support group. It would have been a bawl book, but for the fact that I am online. I have not escaped the black hole of TFIOS spoilers

Heartless | Marissa Meyer
Pickpick

Heartless was absolutely wonderful. I would suggest going into it knowing as little as possible, but it is the backstory of The Queen of Hearts. You don't have to be familiar with Alice in wonderland, but it will help with the story line. I would highly suggest it if you are interested in Fantasy/Romance/Wonderland
