This book is entertaining from the first word until the end! I am almost sorry it is not a series... highly recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Clever, funny, intriguing, and quick-paced ... it is the most entertained I have been since the last Harry Potter books! I am thrilled it is a series!
This book was difficult at best. Mr. Koontz write beautiful prose and his descriptions are unbelievably real, but the plot in this story was banal and predictable and the end did not support the build-up of tension the author created in the first two chapters. It was very difficult to finish and honestly when it did finally end I was so frustrated with all the characters that I was no longer rooting for them. Pass!
This book is excellent! Great story, immediate hook, and not overly "romancey". The author plays with her readers emotions throughout the book and just when I thought I knew what was going to happen, the story veered sharply and surprised me. Suspense novels can be overly dramatic and authors often rely on suspense to allow for some literary laziness - there is NONE of that in this book! Highly recommend!
This book was well written, if a little dark. You can see the same elements in this story as the Divergent Trilogy. I would read the second one, whenever it's published
The third book in the Barker & Llewelyn series is the best so far! It is very different from the first two books, completely unpredictable- to the very end - and very, very British 😄 I loved it!
This was the second novel in the Barker/Llewelyn series. It was in perfect alignment to the first book, and extremely well written. Parts of it were somewhat predictable, but I enjoyed it overall!
One of my all-time favorite books that I have to re-read every so often. If you like stories that blends legend with historical fact, this book is really amazing!
This is the first book in a series very like a re-vamped Sir Arthur Conan Doyle novel. There is more detail and more excitement in this series than the Sherlock Holmes collection, though. Intriguing enough to keep a reader hooked and very enjoyable. I am a bit obsessed with British literature, though, and this series feeds the addiction.
Entertaining if a bit long ... raunchy so the easily offended should not approach. Kevin Heart was surprising in his depth and perceptivity.
