Our local library is having their semiannual book sale this week and I went a little wild with the historical fiction. I‘ve been slowly collecting all of Philippa Gregory‘s books. Most of the ones they had, I already have... but I found three I still need! I‘ve already read Wideacre, but it was a library book and I‘m dying to read it again!

The writing is not like most books I read, but it is wonderful. I am loving it so far!

pickThis book was a delightful surprise. I downloaded it on a whim, not expecting that much. But I was hooked from the very beginning. I loved the characters and the magic- especially how much “reality” was put into the magic. Absolutely loved this book!
I started this series very much unsure of it. I came from reading (and LOVING) Mass‘ Throne of Glass series. This series is just so different... the writing style is a bit different... and I was just wavering in the fence through book one of this series. But then something happened and suddenly everything I questioned- there was a reason for it. And now I am just loving the series.
