Starting 2019 off right and starting my goal of at least 12 nonfiction books for the year.

This was a pleasant surprise of a read. I had not read anything by Robert Bennett, but I look forward to reading more from him.
Starting someyhing new today. My 76th read of the year.
This was an amazing novel. It is one of the best novels I have ever read. I know the size is daunting, but I do recommend it to any fantasy lovers.
Just started this monester of a book. Happy to be returning to the world, and also to Sanderson's writing.
The twist in the novel helped me get through it. It was just alright overall.
I quite enjoyed this brief look into the mind of an author and long distance runner. I will probably have this on a list of best books I read year.
I need to finish this off by next Monday. I plan to read it today. I am interested in reading a bit more about this fantastic author and his runnibg hobby.
Not my favourite Joe Hill novel, but it is a solid read. I enjoyed how you bounced back and forth from past to present. The novel did get a bit depraved at points, but it made sense in context why it went down that path.
Not his best novel, but it is quite impressivr if you remember it was King's debut. The way he dove into the psychology of the fate event was quite interesting.
Goal for the day is to finish my first horror of the season. I am really enjoying Carrie so far
Starting this today. Next book for the small book club I am in. Some how I haven't had this spoiled for me yet.
Not as good as the first three but it kept me wanting to read more. Now to out a hold on volume 5
Reading this today. I am really enjoying this series so far. Not a big graphic novel reader but they are a nice change of pace.
It was better than the last one in the series. I enjoyed the perspective of Four.
Reading this over the weekend for a bookclub. About half way done.
This was great. I enjoyed the perspectives, one being so different from the usual. The ending was a surprise but I do thibk it works for the novel.
Thanks @booksandpositivitea for the tag for #tuesdaytidbits
1. I'm pretty happy with my reading spot right now. An oversized chair, an ottoman for my feet to be up on, surronded by my book shelves.
2. I don't eat or drink much while reading. I do enjoy reading while drinking my morning coffee though.
3. Brandon Sanderson or JRR Tolkien are the ones that stick out. I love a good fantasy or sci-fi to get cozy with.
4. I have no one to tag.
Need to finish this novel this week, it needs to be returned to the library on Monday.
The series was alright. The first novel was the high point, for sure. Allegiant was alright, but it suffered. I personally did not like the duo perspectives, I just dont understand why you start that in the last book and not the second one.
I enjoyed the ending of the first part of the Hyperion Cantos.
You get more of the characters from the first, fleshed out with their motives intact. You also are introduced to some new characters, some playing very interesting roles and used as interesting plot devices.
I thought the first one was slightly better, but this one wraps up the first half well. I look forward to reading the next two novels.
Tea and a book. Need to finish off the reading for book club. Just got to sit down and do it, hence the tea.
Starting Allegiant, the third book for my book club. The book club has two people, it is place for us to share our thoughts on books and to share our lovenof reading together. I look forward to see where this novel goes and how the series is wrapped up.
Needed a break from the other books I am in the middle of reading. It was about on par with his other novels in the seties. I did enjoy the scifi aspects in the novel. Also was picked up to complete the series.
