The 3 book in the Divergent Series, Allegiant is a must-read. The book has a great ending and introduces you to a whole new perspective to the world Veronica Roth created.
This book should've been called Four and Tris.. it was more about them... I mean this book could've been a stand alone and the third book could've been about the real series.
Finally about to finish this book.. so therefore this series will be complete
It was a great book, but definitely not the best book in the series. How dare you kill Tris BTW, VR She was my second fave character. My first was Uriah. OH WAIT YOU KILLED HIM TOOO
"I don't know how long it takes for me to realize that isn't going to happen, that she is gone. But when I do feel all all the strength go out of me, and I fall to my knees beside the table and I think I cry, then, or at least I want to, and everything inside me screams for just one more kiss, one more word, one more glance, one more.
"I fell in love with him. But I don't just stay with him by default as if there's no one else available to me. I stay with him because I choose to, every day that I wake up, every day that we fight or lie to each other or disappoint each other. I choose him over and over again, and he chooses me." ~Tris
I will forever be Dauntless but I am also everything else, which in the end makes me Divergent!
There was no surprises I kinda new the end was different from the film.
Over all I enjoyed the trilogy very much it keeps me engaged and wanting to know more at the turn of every page.
Eric will forever hold a place in my heart ♥️

The allegiant escape to the real world only to find that it has problems of it‘s own.
I did love this book. But there was one part in this book particularly that upset me. Still a great series though.
I just finished reading this a week ago...I went through two tissue boxes and I cannot look at it without sobbing. I feel betrayed.

The first book was by far my favorite. I am not opposed to realistic endings, and the characters stayed true to themselves and she looked after the emotional health of them, but it wasn‘t a favorite. I also got confused several times because this one bounced between narrators and I didn‘t always read the name at the top.
This one is going slower for me.
1) Looks like I'm not alone.
2) Depends on if I've been to the store recently.
3) My school's Priest asked me to come up on the alter to show me the correct way to make the sign of the cross. I still do it backwards. It's a mirror image from being taught. I go right first.
4) Freshly washed hair. Shampoo not specific.
5) Purple Raven.

1. @thevictoriousone You know this to be true. I may have actually thrown the book. 🤔
2. Pack a lunch every day
3. We were at a party at the Chancellor of LSU‘s house and were talking about the school I worked at (I was much younger). I was asked if I took the interstate to work and I said no, I take 110 (which is an interstate). Duh!
4. Coffee, possibly

1. I could go on and on about this one, but I won‘t. The more time passes the more I hate it.
2. Pack my lunch, I get 22 min to eat lunch so there‘s no chance to leave.
3. There are so many to chose from, I‘m socially awkward so that tends to create lots of opportunities for embarrassing moments.

I liked it, but can‘t quite give it a top rating. The series just wasn‘t for me.
There is nothing better than starting the day with a cat and a book! #CatsofLitsy #Cat
This book out of the series was my least favorite, I hated the ending. Tough the ending was refreshing from all the happy endings.
#QuotsyDec18 Day 13: The sound of a #Train moving to take one far away. We are currently waiting for our bus to take us on a 6 hour road trip to Kuala Lumpur where I will be doing some serious book hunting for the #BigBadWolf book fair. :)
Tris... :(
Not as good as Divergent.
I kinda knew about the ending but it still really sad.
I really felt for Tobias and Christina and I liked the last paragraph finishing off the trilogy.
Tobias Eaton really shinned through in this series. His love for Tris is pure & his emotional struggles heartbreaking. He earned the redemption he deserved.
This was the weakest book out of the trilogy in my opinion. I understand there was a lot of character development, but the plot dragged on. I found myself getting bored. And the plot of wanting to fix genetically damaged people felt weak at best. Caleb volunteering to die or Peter wanting to wipe his own memories just didn't seem in their nature, unless I missed something.

The series was alright. The first novel was the high point, for sure. Allegiant was alright, but it suffered. I personally did not like the duo perspectives, I just dont understand why you start that in the last book and not the second one.
I absolutely loved rereading the Divergent books. It was far enough back that it was still mostly a surprise! I'm a bit.... lukewarm to the ending, I'm just not sure how I feel about it, but I've enjoyed reading it.
Tea and a book. Need to finish off the reading for book club. Just got to sit down and do it, hence the tea.
Starting Allegiant, the third book for my book club. The book club has two people, it is place for us to share our thoughts on books and to share our lovenof reading together. I look forward to see where this novel goes and how the series is wrapped up.
I laugh, and it‘s laughter, not light, that casts out the darkness building within me, that reminds me I am still alive, even in this strange place where everything I‘ve ever known is coming apart.
I am excited to relive how it all ends. Since it's a reread, I can remember snippets but it's still new enough to be exciting.
Personally I quite liked the films and was rather disappointed to hear the final one was not going to be made.
Thought the series went out with a whimper rather than a bang. I knew what was coming but I found it all fell a bit flat. Rating: 3 ⭐️

⭐️⭐️This has me very conflicted. On one hand, I feel like Tris' endgame fit her character and personality - this time she was strong enough to sacrifice herself in the place of someone she loves. But on the other side of that, I feel like I had been cheated by the way the series ended up getting dragged out. It didn't do the characters and their developments, pain, suffering, and sacrifice any justice.
Catching up on #readingresolutions again! Here‘s my selection for #multiplenarrators, a device I felt really did not work in this last volume of the Divergent trilogy. Switching voices between Tris and Four was a good way to broaden the perspective, but Roth wasn‘t able to pull off writing in two distinct voices. When you have to keep flipping back to the chapter heading to figure out who‘s supposed to be narrating, that‘s a problem!
“The person you became with her is worth being.”

I haven't time to post yesterday. It was a really busy week and I need to rest and get new energy. And it's time to finish with one book and start another😊
