I am having the hardest time getting through this book. It gripped me pretty strong, but then I just feel like it fell flat. I don't want to DNF it... yet.
but I also want to read anything and everything else... somaybe that's a sign.

I loved it!
And some days it seems
hope and despair take turns
but despite all our sadness
the sun always returns.
Hi guys!! This isn't related to books, really.. but a bit of info about me:
I am a caregiver to my mom, who (likely) has dementia. (I say likely because there is a bit of hesitancy to call it around her past medical history...)
Anywho... I have been reading a lot but not updating here as much as I would like to.
(currently reading: Pillow Thoughts - Courtney Peppernell & The Woman in Cabin 10 - Ruth Ware)
I loved reading this from Four's perspective - to get more of a view into his mind. I find him compelling.
I have just one more section to finish in Four before its done. Already trying to find my next read 😂
I got tagged by @CarolynM - thanks!
1. In an ideal world, I would have a bay window... with lots of blankets and pillows! For now, I settle with the couch.
2. Tea!
3. I have so many.... I love Colleen Hoover, J.K. Rowling, Tahereh Mafi, Claudia Gray & many more
4. @Giant_book_worm @rather_be_reading
Reading is me time and an important part of it is also curling up with a tea!
I'm so excited to get into the Four short stories now!! I just find Four so compelling...
I absolutely loved rereading the Divergent books. It was far enough back that it was still mostly a surprise! I'm a bit.... lukewarm to the ending, I'm just not sure how I feel about it, but I've enjoyed reading it.
Help! I'm new to Litsy and I'm looking for more people to follow! I am a HP nerd + also have a passion for doing my nails (@mugglenails on IG). Direct me, guide me!
I initially came across this book out and about at Walmart and I was pretty intrigued. I typically read young adult / romance / dystopian / fantasy etc but I could not put it down! I feel like it was predictable and yet unpredictable. I was guessing and wondering and somehow I still didn't expect it to go that way. The specific details of the twist are quite gut wrenching.
it isn't every book that makes you wonder what happens while you're not in it. and this one is doing just that.
I'm completely drawn in by this book! I started it today because I'm waiting for my book club Skype session and I thought I would give it a go. Somehow... I'm already almost 50% in after a successful afternoon reading session!
I laugh, and it‘s laughter, not light, that casts out the darkness building within me, that reminds me I am still alive, even in this strange place where everything I‘ve ever known is coming apart.
I am excited to relive how it all ends. Since it's a reread, I can remember snippets but it's still new enough to be exciting.
