While not the next "Gone Girl" as advertised, still an interesting psychological thriller. A pretty dark and disturbing read.
Started out strong with an interesting premise, but never regained momentum. Lots of minor characters that didn't add much to the story, a stagnant plot, and confusing point of view changes made this tough to finish.
At what point does this book become a thriller? Not going to waste any more time reading to find out. 80 pages in & nothing thrilling about it.
My favorite Tana French so far! Every time I thought I knew where the story was about to go I was thrown for a loop.
