Coming Up for Air | Miranda Kenneally

Pulled an all nighter reading this one! This is such a great series for teens, especially girls, that explores family, faith, friendships and sexuality. I think this is the last book in the Hundred Oaks series. If so, it ended on a high note with Maggie & Levi's friends to more romance. #summerreading @Sourcebooks

MidnightBookGirl I have loved all of Kenneally's books, but this is definitely one of my favorites (right up there with Things I Can't Forget). 7y
KarenA @MidnightBookGirl It was one of my favorites of the series too. The only one I haven't read yet is Breathe Annie Breathe. 7y

I can see how some readers wouldn't like Sam & some of the things he does while trying to find love but I thought it was an honest portrayal of teens torn between lust, love and friendships.

The first few books are still my favorite but this was a solid ending to the series.

For This Life Only | Stacey Kade

I‘m a lucky reader to have TWO Stacey Kade books released in one year (and within 1 month – the other being the NA title, 738 Days).

For This Life Only is a beautiful exploration of faith and grief. Don't be put off by the religious aspect. It is a strong and complicated factor in Jace‘s life & relationships but it's very well done - respectful but not overwhelming or preachy.

MidnightBookGirl Love her books, and this sounds fantastic! 8y
KarenA @MidnightBookGirl She did such a great job with the religion aspect. 8y

That's me! I was a beta reader for this so a slight bias lol but I really enjoyed the old school PNR feel - good world building, romance, characters. Nice start to a series and return to romance by Aguirre.
