This was excellent. Lindy West is a unique and powerful voice in essay writing. She will make you laugh out loud and cry so hard.

I'm not an Austen obsessive, not that there's anything wrong with being one, but I loved this retelling. The characters are well developed and compelling. It's so fun to see how these issues translate into modern day.

I loved this book! The pacing was exceptional which something I'm looking for in summer reads. It is the story of two women both in their thirties who have been friends since adolescence and how their relationship evolves. It is a compelling portrait of female friendship w/ complex characters.

This book was so. weird. I'm not sure whether or not to recommend this. Reading this felt like spending a lot of time with someone who makes you really uncomfortable but who you can't get away from. I felt compelled to finish and then disappointed when I did.

I listened to this on audio. With the full cast each story is its own performance. The audio reading definitely worked better for some stories than others, but overall was so well done. And Kelly Link!! I've never read her work before, but how cool! I love how she makes you work to understand.

Started Part Two this morning and then had to finish this! A great psychological thriller that doesn't totally fall apart as you get towards the end. Excellent summer beach read or if you're me Saturday morning bed read.

Not only is this book about what it's like to go to space (!), it's also an un-stuffy meditation on leadership, success and finding happiness. Col. Chris Hadfield leads like coolest Dad in the world with the best advice.

This book was great, but I wanted it to be even better. I loved the characters, but found myself wanting more time with each of them, instead of just little glimpses into their lives. As someone with an understanding of fine dining I found the food descriptions delightful but also off base.
