This is the first story in the podcast "Levar Burton Reads". I‘ve heard about the podcast before, but only started to listen to it yesterday. Now I‘m on episode 7. Holy carp, I did not know what I was missing out on. I find myself now, trying to exercise some restraint so I won‘t finish the whole thing over the weekend, but it‘s a struggle. He starts the show with a bang. This first story is a science fiction that really tugs at the heartstrings.

Being a little worried, I hesitated to read this one. Kept putting it off because I was afraid it would make writing seem to daunting to master. But now, having read almost half of it, I feel more inspired than ever to grow as a writer :) I just hope the feeling lasts.

Trying out an audiobook for the first time. I find it difficult to concentrate on the story when listening, but I‘m determined to finish the book. Maybe it‘s just something I have to get used to?

starrdom I don‘t think it‘s you, I think it‘s the book. I listen to ALOT of audiobooks but I just finished this one and found it very difficult to follow. 5y
Monica.Acorn Ah, so it‘s not just me! Thank you, my frustration levels are going down a bit now. 5y

I really wanted to like this book. It is well written, but the plot did nothing for me. Maybe this was the wrong story for me, but I didn‘t enjoy this as much as I wanted to.

Pickpick

I have an initial understanding of what mindfulness is, and see it now as an essential part of a well-balanced life. This book gave me more information on that subject, as well as practical advise on how to use mindful techniques to develop a better relationship with food. In this book you will not find specific recommendations as to which foods you should or shouldn‘t eat, instead it can help you understand why you eat the way you do!

Cinfhen I have a real love/hate relationship with food😥I should probably read this💕 5y
Monica.Acorn I highly recommend you to look more into mindful eating! Food is so personal, and having issues with that has an impact on the rest of your life. This book is a good place to start ❤️ 5y
