The ambiguity is well expressed in this book. For some reason Wilfried does some weird stuff and he actually has just two purposes: to survive and to keep his wife. But that's not easy said during and after WWII. Certainly when you think about the fact he's playing at two sides off the table... (the regime and the rebellion)

It doesn't matter whether I read this one or the others. Each time over and over again it surprises me and it takes me to a whole different world. (That said I can understand the critics on the fact that this is just a script, but look at that beauty of a book!❤️) It's even more strange when I consider the fact I bought this at a Kings Cross bookshop in London.

After my French exam I was like: "I just gonna take a look to the books they have here..."
