December/January book club pick. Seasonal and light.

Beautifully written. The prose was intense and beyond descriptive and a joy to read. The story was driven and deep. Definitely recommend, but not a light read

Reread for a book club. Language is hard to get through but still a classic. Really asks the question of what it is to be human

Great read. Fun 80‘s,90‘s, & 2000‘s retro adventure set in a video game. Classic hero‘s journey with a nerdy twist. Highly suggest this one

Unusual coming of age tale about a cross dressing truck stop hooker.
Great simple read

Finally getting through the back log. Old recommendation from an old friend. #truckstophookers

Sub par survival/apocalyptic story. Even worse running advise.

Characters are see though and mostly one dimensional. Writing style is quick and dumbed down. Slang doesn't even fit the geographical location.

A few parts stand out as potential of great story telling but all and all falls flat. I can't read the same situation over and over and enjoy it.

Keep an eye on the author but skip this one.

Existential crisis via gen Xers. Great story telling from the characters. No conflict, no drama, think Kerouac for the 90s. Super quick read and a little fun just don't expect any real big thoughts or story telling.
