I picked this one up on a whim and was totally intrigued by the whole “if she dies, she takes the truth with her” and I HAD to know if it did or not. The podcast side of the book was a nice surprise and did make me think this would be great as an audiobook (which I did listen to right after finishing the book and it was amazing!) It definitely has a heavy tone so not for the light hearted.

This was probably the most “action packed” of all the books. Which I appreciated by the time I finally got to the last one. I do think that this should have remained as a trilogy...but here we are. Not the worst. But also not the best. Mostly kept reading them to just find out how it all ends.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I listened to this as an audio book. I did rate this a 4 but I guess that was just more in comparison to all the previous books. This actually had a lot more going on in the book from beginning to end. Out of the series, this one may be my favorite.

⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 finally got around to reading and finishing this one. I did enjoy it, it was a nice quick and easy read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ went into this book with ZERO expectations. Literally preordered because it was the same authors of Five Feet Apart, and it did not disappoint! It definitely threw me in for a loop. And honestly, who can pass on young love??

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I loved this one! It‘s such a brokenly beautiful story. This book broke me, and the darkness that Finch feels is overwhelming. But there is also light in the moments with Violet. “You are all the colors in one, at full brightness”. I would read this again and my hearts goes out to Finch.

I rated this a 4! It‘s another retelling of a fairy tale. But I love the take on this. It follows a girl who is a descendant of the Grimms and a curse has been placed on their family. She‘s finally come of age when the curse comes in full effect and the stories start to shape and manifest in her life and she has to find a way to break the curse. Great read, had fun!

I rated this a 3. Much like the other ones, it was a slow start and picked up towards the end. I‘m adding this to my unhaul pile. Same with Restore Me, I also rated this a 3 and very much had the same feeling as the others. There are some beautiful quotes so I would say if you‘re interested, give it a read.

I‘m not going to lie..this was still a rough beginning for me. But once I got to around page 300 (which is already most of the book), things started to pick up. I didn‘t like how Juliette too quickly decided that she was in love with Adam, and I‘m sure I still have a lot to learn about Warner...but I‘m team Warner! The writing style is still a bit repetitive for me and I do find myself skimming past a lot of those parts.

I had high expectations for this book since so many people raved about it. However, I found myself feeling disappointed and not as interested or captivated by the story. It was an easy read and it wasn‘t terrible, but I wouldn‘t reach for this one again.

I can‘t say enough about this series. I loved it many years ago, and I still love it today. Peeta Mellark stole my heart then and he still claims it today. This one isn‘t my favorite of the series, but as a whole, love the series!

I finished my reread of this book last night. I still love the book, but man I forgot how annoying Katniss was in this book! I have forever been #teampeeta and it frustrated me how blind she continues to be of her affections towards Peeta. She‘s willing to DIE for him but “chooses” Gale?? Girl is confused! Either way, definitely keeping this one for the shelves!!

I revisited the world of Panem and the Hunger Games after reading The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Still a 5/5 for me! It‘s been many years since I‘ve read the series and forgot how much I loved it! Since I literally just finished reading it, my wounds are still fresh and my heart still hurts for Peeta. Oh the challenges of young love 😩

Keep in mind this book IS twilight, don‘t expect anything more. What you do get is a deeper look into the Cullen family. Edward is not the perfect being that Bella idolizes, but is in fact so very self aware of what he is and has many flaws. Edward and Alice have such impeccable teamwork! If you didn‘t already love Emmett before, you will now! And the ever elusive Jasper...❤️ It was so nostalgic reading this book and I enjoyed every minute of it!

I was so excited to get this book and was ready to feel nostalgic while re-entering the world of Panem and the hunger games. But I walked away from this book with mixed feeling and rather disappointed. I did enjoy certain parts of the book and it was interesting to see the character development of Snow. But I feel like there could have been so much MORE in his development. The ending also came to a messy/rushed end. I rated it 2 out of 5 stars.

This series in a whole turned out to be not for me. It was extremely slow paced for me. There wasn‘t a whole lot of character development either due to them being separated for majority of the book. I was so excited to read them when I first got my hands on them but turns out it just wasn‘t for me. At least this makes more space on shelves. #unhaul

Wasn‘t the greatest, wasn‘t the worst. It was a spin-off story of Cam‘s from the fallen series. It was a rough start for me and kind of picked up in the middle to end. I‘d say go for it for a one time read if you‘re interested in fallen angels, but it‘s not something I would read again. Going into my unhaul pile.

Was very pleasantly surprised by this book! It was real and raw, the characters weren‘t perfect or stereotypically beautiful and they were dealing with real problems.

Finally finished the second book in the Fallen series and still slowly working on my #rereadmyshelves challenge that I set for myself. Once again, she‘s a keeper. I enjoyed this reread as it continued its story of Luce and Daniel and their cursed love. Book two gave a little more info on their history but not enough so that you can‘t wait for book three.

Still working on my #rereadchallenge of all my owned books. This book has a very Twilight like feel to it, but instead of vampires and werewolves you have angels and demons (although all fallen). It‘s a very easy read and still enjoyable many years later. This series is a keeper for me.

This is definitely my favorite book out of the whole series. Even as a re-read it‘s still so exciting! I laughed with the characters, cried with them, felt defeated with them, scared with them, hopeful with them, celebrated with them! The range of emotions I felt while reading this book...❤️ You know it‘s a good one when your heart feels the words on the page.

FINALLY finished my reread. Life just got in the way of finishing in a time frame that I wanted. These books never get old and I always notice something new with each reread. HP has my heart! Love the series. I will say that the action doesn‘t really happen in this book until the last few chapters. Everything before it gets a bit repetitive at times.

I‘m sticking with it‘s not my type..I found myself having to force myself to keep reading vs couldn‘t stop reading. The only part that peaked my interest was when it brought up “Xander‘s secret” but that wasn‘t until 3/4 of the way in and it was short lived.

Currently on vacation but brought my book to try and squeeze in some reading time! Still working rereading my shelves before I get any new books..sadly it‘s taking way longer than I want but it‘s a nice trip down memory lane.

It was a fun read but took me forever to finish it. An interesting take on a dystopian romance and freedom of choice and what lengths one will go to to fight for it. However it was kind of slow paced for me as far as turns of events. Hoping the rest of the series is a little more exciting.

I absolutely loved this book cover to cover. It was heartbreaking, exciting, and bittersweet all at once. Reminds you of what that youthful “us against the world” love is like. It‘s a quick and easy read but puts you deep in your feelings.

marleed I just finished yesterday and so agree with you! 5y
