Fairly solid conclusion to the first half of the series. The ending felt a bit rushed but overall a fairly easy and enjoyable read.
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Also the first song I heard after putting the book down was Only The Lonely Survive by Marianas Trench and it is so fitting I want to hear it on a book trailer for this book!
Confession - I totally got my 13 year old niece hooked on the Shatter Me series... then she discovered my Ignite Me copy was only the first 28 pages repeated over and over...
I had no idea 😂 I've only read the first one.
What's the weirdest misprint you've found with a book?
While I‘m loving this series, this one started slow and lost some of its spark. While the plot focuses on preparing to take down the establishment, it ends up revolving more around the growing romance between characters. I expected a build up leading to this epic war but the ending was just too rushed. As Juliette‘s character grows, she loses her lyrical prose, and I miss that. An ending with a hopeful prospect will push me on to the next book.
Hi everyone! I finished Ignite Me. The third book in the Shatter me series. I'm flying through this series. I really enjoyed this book! I'm very excited to read the 4th book. #litsy #kindle #kindlefire #paperwhite #library
This is becoming one of my favorite series!! I can't recommend them enough!!
I totally adore the Shatter Me series and this book was an amazing culmination of the story. I can't even express how much I loved Juliette's evolution as a person and enjoyed uncovering who Warner truly is on the inside.
No gun, no sword, no army and no king will ever be more powerful than a sentence. Swords may cut and kill, but words will stab and stay, burying themselves in our bones to become corpses we carry into the future, all the time digging and failing to rip their skeletons from our flesh.
I am feeling kind of conflicted about this... it was a gripping story and I really wanted P.A. dead+Sector 45 freed. I love Kenji+James and like the whole gang basically. I can understand Adam‘s moping but not his anger+violence towards J. I am very proud of her development, that discovered her strength+confidence. Though I am sympathetic towards Aaron, these 2 should not be together. Even he had his reasons, he still traumatised her further.
Good conclusion to the series. There were lots of loose ends though, so I‘m glad that there is going to be an extension trilogy. A very dystopian and VERY dramatic novel; like I‘m pretty sure it‘s compared to a soap opera by one of the characters and I couldn‘t agree more, but still fun to read.
Just finished this and I have to say the first book wasn‘t the greatest but so glad I persevered as 2 and 3 were fantastic
The follow up to Shatter Me, and Tahereh Mafi still doesn't disappoint. She complicates the idea of a "bad guy" in this one and I love how our perception of certain characters slowly changes through the book.
This story left me wanting more. I need to know what Juliette and Warner are going to be doing next. She is so mich stronger with him by her side. He trutly completes her. I hated Adam in this book. I get it, he is hurt but honestly he became an ass and i lost all respect for him. Hopefully he earns it back in the next book. And Kenji has oficially become my absolute favorite character😍😍
I cannot even begin to explain how in love I am with this book. (Warner 😍😍) I cannot wait for my copy of Restore Me to be delivered today. I‘m just so excited.
[#BookReview] Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi. This was such an amazing ending (at least, it was an ending before it was announced we‘d get more) to this series! I loved the characters, action, plot, and romance. I cannot wait to read Restore Me and cannot recommend this series enough. 👁🔥📚
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Just finished #ShatterMe and #UnravelMe...and I‘m so glad I have the third on hand! Here I go 😬😁
Ok I loved it. Now I have to wait my copy of Restore me to come from Barnes and Noble Express shipping! I‘m hooked. if you haven‘t read it you should and the audio book comes highly recommended. I was only able to get audio for the last book.
This was intense. I can't wait for the 4th book to come out.
I did not like the first book but it the series got better as it went along the climax of the story was a bit lacking and the characters could have been better developed. I would have liked to know more then just the love story. All and all a good series can‘t wait for book 4 in March
Started this today after reading the second novella
Ever have one of those days when a favorite scenes from one of your favorite book pops into your head, makes you smile, and suddenly you have to go read it...and then you end up skimming the whole book...and then you realize this is the third book and you should go back and skim the good parts from the first and second books...and then it's six hours later and nothing got accomplished this evening...
No? Just me?
Alright so the whole series in general did a 180° on me. Totally screwed with my mind. The storyline was decent, but it was missing the emotional bond that ties us to the characters. I honestly could care less if any of them died. If the author got more in depth with the characters, maybe the series would have turned out better. Also, the ending was unsatisfactory. I knew what was going to happen next, but it just wasn't enough. How do you feel?
I really want to read Cirque du Freak by Darren Shan, but I have to finish Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi. Anyone else a Book Hopper?
I loved this trilogy. It manages to deal with tropes in a deep and meaningful way while taking you places you didn't see coming. The characterization and evolution of Juliette is one of the best I've read. This is how you do "character plot twist" right: you see things in a different way but the characters haven't really changed and stay true to themselves. I kinda want to go back and read the first and second books all over again.
And so.. I finished the second book and I bought the third one straight away. I'm in love with Warner. He is so cool!!!
On a side note: how difficult it was to find this book in UK. Big bookstores don't sell it and I had to use Amazon. Note I usually prefer bookshops.. But they should stock up a bit.
Anyway... I should go back to study... 😭

The best book of the trilogy! The emotions the characters feel are so true to real life. Mafi nailed the character development and the plot masterfully in this last installment.
You guys. I recognize that there are a lot of flaws with this series, but I am straight up addicted. I can't stop. Also, it may be time to admit that I'm into romance. 🙄
Here's my recent craft, inspired by Tahereh Mafi's Ignite Me, which is apart of her Shatter Me series.
If you've read the series then you know what this quote means. How much feeling...and oh how these few words contain so much meaning. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend you do. For you haven't lived till you've read a book written by Tahereh Mafi
Third and final book of the Shatter Me Trilogy. This book was fantastic. It totally turned the story around and in such a wonderful way. I definitely like Warner better than I did in the first two books. The ending was great; you can just imagine what kind of amazing things they'll all do in the future.
There is quite the #lovetriangle in this well-written YA series. Is it de rigueur in this genre? I have only read this and Hunger Games, but it seems prevalent? #feistyfeb
