Victoria‘s Victorian Victory will carry you back to rural Victorian times. The strongest aspect of the book is its main character, Victoria Bloom, who has just lost her father. Victoria is only fourteen but the drastic changes in her life make her realise she loves her home, her family, and she is going to do everything she can to, not only save it, but to improve it.
I highly recommend this as a story for all ages. Victoria is an inspiration.
It didn‘t matter that just over twenty-fours hours ago she hadn‘t even looked at him with a lover‘s eyes.
Time meant nothing.
She loved him in an instant.
She would love him forever.

I love returning to Erkling and the Netherworlde, to catch up with Robin, Henry, Karya, Woad and the other Erklingers. This time, Robin and his friends have to retrieve the Shard of Earth from the heart of the Everhart Forest. Their journey is fraught with danger as they encounter centaurs, a minotaur in an ancient labyrinth, and let‘s not forget the Grimms.
James Fahy creates a wonderful fantasy world. His imagery is stunning.
Sprite by Anna B. Madrise is a delightful retelling of A Christmas Carol, complete with the warning against greed.
Sprite was a wonderful read and although it was a retelling of a classic, it was so original, as well as being festive, heart-warming, humorous and very feel-good. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and highly recommend it.
Remember To Love Me is a timeslip paranormal romance, a love story over generations. It was a delightful read and I felt myself transported to Bury St. Edmunds, the beautiful historic village in which the story is set, with infinite ease. The author captured it so visually that I want to go to there now and explore it.
A wonderful story. 💙💙💙

James Fahy creates a believable but mysterious world and I enjoyed my journey into Netherworlde with Karya, Robin and Woad. Each character is well-formed and I adored them all, from Henry to Mr Strife.
The story is so well-written, with a tight page-turning plot. I would recommend this book to everyone. At times, I had to stop and remember that the characters are young. It made no difference. This read is for all ages.
