My first introduction to this genre 🔥 was Amanda Ashley's vampire series. Tame compared to a lot of the books that are out there, but I have some favorites I pick up from time to time.

This one is a low Pick due to it taking forever to get going & nearly not capturing my attention at all before it finally moved the plot on. Sister witches wanting different things from life, curses, witchcraft paranoia, heartbreak, betrayal & forgiveness - this was actually a cracking, if slightly lowkey, read. Evocative writing, some interesting symbolism, and strong, capable, independent women at one with nature & their own worth. Nice.
All of my Suzanne Wright books definitely count as #SteamyLove 😘😏😳🥵

Didn't like it as much as the first one, but it was still a lot of fun. I'm rather into fun, fast-paced reads lately, instead of the boring DNFs I've been slogging through.
Did not finish book. Stopped at 63%.
This just isn‘t picking up for me. I had some issues with book 1 but thought maybe the story could progress in a way that interested me but I‘m finding myself bored and over it with the MCs‘ inability to communicate Basic information to eachother.
My dad came into town to visit and we took him to see the sights. We also had to stop at my local used bookstore and pick up some books.

@AmyG you are the BEST! What an absolutely lovely gift to come home to today ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I would totally be up for a Buddy read!!! Let me know what works for you - my email is pmcclure@rogers.com I‘m excited to read this ( I love books about libraries and magical creatures so much)
I gave it 100 pages but I really just couldn‘t get into it. And, well life is too short and there are too many other books waiting….
My first read for #LBQTHistoryMonth2025 is the tagged. I LOVE it but didn't realise it was part of a series. If I wanted to read the other Green Creek books, would it matter that I've read #3
first?
I love this graphic from @QueerChameleon 🏳️🌈 Says it all really.
