I have been looking forward to reading the newest spinoff series from The Vampire Knitting Club by Nancy Warren. I've loved all of her books. This new series follows Lucy's friend Jennifer as she starts a knitting shop at a new location. There are some old friends and new characters. I have to admit though this one didn't quite draw me in yet as much as other books by author. It was a nice relaxing read though.

Roary47 That looks and sounds super cute! 4h

Great read about ghosts in the White House! It‘s for children if it helps.

This book is a fun read! The magic in this series is so unique compared to most fantasy worlds and the characters are likable. I really enjoy having ghost characters as well.

Bk6 of my recent #BookMail is the Special Signed Edition of The 1st book in The Bone Season series. It‘s 2059 & 19yr old Paige Mahoney is working in the criminal underworld of Scion London, based at Seven Dials. Her job: scout for information by breaking into people‘s minds. Paige is a Dreamwalker & Clairvoyant & in the world of Scion, she breaks the law by simply breathing. Attacked, drugged & kidnapped, she‘s taken to Oxford, a city kept secret.

Trying a #BookTok recommendation for the first time. I like to read a Halloween selection this time of year and saw this featured on a number of TikTok videos.

A whopping five years (too long!) after my podcast‘s first foray into the Twilight universe, we‘re BACK in gloomy Forks, baby! — this time to discuss NEW MOON. 🌙 I had so much fun chatting with author and one-time Twihard Emma Noyes about the high and low points of this moody second book in the bestselling series. 🌑 Listen at the link in my bio!

MidnightBookGirl Sounds fun! I have so many mixed feelings about this series now, but at one time I was alllll about it. ;) 16h

And my last post for some early bird #Scarathon points: Movies and shows I intend to watch in October! Some of these are old favorites- Arsenic and Old Lace, Popcorn, Practical Magic, Invitation, Cutting Class, Freaky, Hocus Pocus, The Babysitter, but the rest are mostly new to me! I will be re-watching the first season of A Discovery of Witches bc it's been so long, before moving on. #SkeletonCrew

I thought the magical mishaps would be funnier than they were. Fell a little flat for me. 🧙‍♀️🧙‍♀️🧙‍♀️
