so-soThe comparison to Knives Out definitely drew me in. When Ruby and Wren are offered $2K to pretend to be an old woman's granddaughters for a dinner party, they agree - but when the host keeps over dead and they end up trapped on the property with all the other guests who are revealed to be witches, tasked with solving the murder, they admit they are over their heads. Some annoying insta-romance, but I found the world building intriguing.
I'm in an alliterative phase, apparently. 😅 😉

panI hated the writing style. It was so dense and confusing, it did not help the paper thin plot or the terrible characterisation.

I mostly enjoyed this large tome with the exception of Edward worrying about his stalking Bella/refusing to turn her into a vampire, only because I wanted him to!
My dumb ass thought this Edward POV covered the whole series but it only covers Twilight, from his POV. If you didn‘t know that, you‘re welcome.
pickThis is Nora Robert‘s at her best. Some of her latest have been so-so lately (in my humble opinion) but this was a compelling and enthralling read. Who doesn‘t like a little bit of romance with your ghosts. Love the other ghosts besides the brides (Molly and Jack) and freaking love Clover. Who wouldn‘t want their own DJ? All in all, looking forward to the next installment (hopefully my local library has it).
pickI both read and listened to this one. It‘s a soft pick for me. In general, I enjoyed the book, but it was slow overall and I knew a great deal of what was going to happen. I think it would have been improved with some tightening up and maybe even fewer story threads.
