It‘s here!!!
Don‘t know why I have been reading it for the whole two months. It‘s too academic for my liking.

Book was very enjoyable. Light , reach and interesting without being too academic or brainy) but at the same time gives something to think about.🎬🎬🎬🎬
Hard to choose. Liked Magic for Liars a lot. This book was funny to read but... it was more “let me tell” than “let me show”.
Candy smuggler accidentally brings Armenian baby-eating spirit to alternative Cairo 🥺
Sometimes short story is worth more than big novel.
Always begin books about Eve with “oh why do I read it again” attitude. But then catch up and enjoy. Trying to find series like in death to comfort reading ))
Everybody need to read this book. Literally everybody. Wooow. The best.
One of my favorite horrors from the last year
Finished.
If your want to read about a magical school, about grim murder and brave investigator don't choose it.
It's about lies.
Ivy, i understand you!!!
[...]what it was like, walking through my high school and feeling like everyone else‘s lives had already started. There was the girl who was an amazing singer and played guitar outside at lunch, the academic kid who won an award at the national level for some kind of algae farm, the young artists who sat and moodily sketched their friends. I remembered looking at them, and then looking at myself, and wondering when the hell my thing would turn up.
Wonderful story about fox domestication. Raises interesting questions not only about animal evolution but also about us, people.
Read it with delight.
And let's forget some “lyric parts“ about mountains of caviar and fountains of cognac. Seems like nobody can write about USSR without this parts.
'If you really care about that thing, you shouldn't leave it here, ' said a tiny voice. 'This is a place for forgetting, leaving behind, smoothing over. Here, take this.'
Bought it yesterday. Unique illustrations. Wonderful story. Went to see short movie based on this book. LOVE it.
Finished this book pretty quickly.
Wonderful story but a little bit...mmm... rushed? And it's also like the third part of ONE book so you don't have “in the first two book our hero did this and that, let's remember it“. You just open it - and boom.
But I really like Cassandra Khaw style-voice-etc.
Should have been reading first two again.
One of the best retellings of Snow White (for me).
You don't need to be the Chosen One. You can be the Hero just because you want it )
“Tell me something I don't know,“ said Deeba. “You're talking to the Unchosen One.“
“Yeah, but where's the skill in being a hero if you were always destined to do it?“ said Hemi.
Finished. It was entertaining. And at the same time like... like... mmm... i was like kid on swings. Whoosh - and can't stop reading, whoosh - and can't even turn the page.
And also it was like three lil books under one cover. Author tried to intersect them but mostly they were running on parallel lines. But entertaining.
Love it. Book of the year for me (so far).
Most of all:
- Exhalation (air-driven mechanical scientist looks into his mind. Literally).
- What's expected of us (Do we have a free will?)
- The truth of fact, the truth of feeling (digital memory vs organic memory)
- Omphalos (life in a world literally created by god, but why?)
- Anxiety is the dizziness of freedom (do you want to chat with your parallel self? )
Brilliant!
It's strange. I can say that I like this book. But at the same time this author is not my cup of tea... coffee... whatever. Interesting feeling.
My guilty pleasure like cola or chips. Some books in series are good, some predictable, but I'm reading all of them)
Good book for family.
Done. Little holiday reading to clear mind. Began Yacek Dikaj's "other songs" - little too much Greek philosophy in fantasy book, but challenging. So need distraction. Thanks, Nora)
Sic transit gloria mundi.👍👍👍👍👍
Cassandra Khaw has vivid imagination - and her books always catch me on some deeep level. Yes, it's horror and retelling of fairytale ... Splendid.
Finished. Mixed feelings about this book. Future part looks like brief retelling of space books. Present part is praising Ilon Mask and sending boos to NASA. Maid me all depressed - ecological catastrophe seems so real ...
Wow, book about future made me all depressed . Begin this one - and just wow. Little (okay, not so much) gem)
Where do you want to go to colonize solar system ? ...
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that girl in possession of a good bunch of P&P retellings, must be in want of more P&P retellings.
Like this book.
