Excited to finally be reading this! Not that she'd know me, but Mira Jacob was my editor at Babble Voices years ago, and I've been wanting to read this ever since it was released.

I love books. I love books about books. I'm not sure that I'm loving this book, though. Going to give it a little more time. Hoping it will begin to charm me.
Finally, a moment to myself where I can enjoy this epic saga. I remember only a little from watching the 1980's mini-series, the book is great so far.
Just started this and it already there's this feeling of being unfulfilled. Not enough details about how everyone just disappeared since it starts three years after the event. Going to stick with it and see where it goes.
I wish the kindle cover was prettier! I *think* I'm following this and I *think* I'm enjoying it.
This book! It's so good, but so heartbreaking. I feel great anxiety about what is going to happen! Addy can't take much more tragedy and rejection. And what's going to happen to little Sharla?!?
Trying the third book on audio to see if I can get the cultural references a little more easily. I feel oddly compelled to continue this series despite not really loving the first two books.
Just started this on audio and it's read by the author. I really enjoy it when an author reads their own book. I think that since they know the story and characters so intimately, it adds a lot to the telling.
I'm only about 60 pages in and if it weren't my bookclub's pick, I'd probably stop reading. Fingers crossed that it gets better.
So far, I'm really into this! Hoping it stays as compelling!
I'm struggling with the dialect. Can't fly through this book like I do most. I do like the story, though, and feel like I've been plopped right into the middle of Eatonville, FL circa 1935.
I'm listening to the audiobook (the voice is not my favorite), but this book is powerful. I'm going to have to get a copy so that I can underline every sentence.
Currently reading. I didn't read Fangirl first, but I don't think that matters. Fast paced, well-written, but it's so hard not to compare it to Harry Potter.
This novel blew me away. Literary and readable and engrossing. I can't say enough good things about this!
This book is nothing like I was expecting. I think that's probably a good thing.
My second Stephen King book this year and so far this one doesn't disappoint. He is such a brilliant writer!
