I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good laugh, and an easy read. Hilarious!

The main character almost annoyed me, but as the story developed I could see her side. There were twists I did not expect, and the story was intriguing, even if disturbing.

I don't know how I feel about this book... It can definitely be classified as a collection of weird anecdotes. 😁 At times I laughed so hard I cried, but then some times it felt she was trying too hard to be funny.
However, the way she described how her mental illness feels and affects her was very honest and real. Chapters We Are Better ThanGalileo. Because He's Dead. and The Big Quiz, especially, really hit home for me.

There will be moments when you have to be a grown-up. Those moments are tricks. Do not fall for them.

I can't possibly put into words how good this book was - I suck at writing reviews. 😝 But the story was very captivating, bringing up some touching issues like motherhood, race and social class. I also enjoyed Celeste's writing style, showing different points of view.

Heartbreaking, but a good read.

I entered #goodreads 2018 challenge around September, and I did not have high hopes for myself. I'm still glad I read 12 books last year though.
Hopefully this new year I'll read more often!

I love Bunmi's writing, the book has plenty of witty, funny moments, but the main character is so hard to like- or even sympathize with. The amount of work she puts towards pretending she is someone she is not to impress some unknown mom's on an online group just made me think would be time better spent accepting her messy, but down to earth life style.
It's still a fun read, but I had expected better.

I miss the smell of books, and how they look on a bookshelf, but, oh, how I love my #kobo 💗

I really liked this book! It was intriguing, and easy to get into.

I'm not an avid reader. I don't read hundreds of books in a year. I don't collect books (lack of space mainly). But there is something about these "time travel" objects that are absolutely fascinating to me.

I have mixed feelings about this book... It caught my attention right away, and at times there was so much suspense I could not put it down, but there were some confusing twists in the story and it also dragged in some parts. Let's just say I wouldn't not read it. 😁
