Finally starting my July #BOTM!! The characters are super dynamic and interesting so far.

The 20th book of 2021! It was not as fast paced as the first one… I enjoyed the last 100 pages and hope the third is a good time.

Been in a slight slump and I‘m so ready for this to pull me out. I‘m also so excited for #Gods&Monsters to come out next week!!!

June #BOTM pick is off to a good start!! I‘m not super familiar with the Arthurian legends so I‘m really enjoying reading it through this lens.

This has made commutes and housework so enjoyable!!

This rainy weather makes me want to curl up, read, and never leave the house again!!!

Still plugging along on this book. Last week was weird for me... lots of unexpected events took up my free time but we got new patio furniture and I‘m looking forward to finishing it tonight on my deck.

I have had a lot of commitments recently and haven‘t been able to dedicate time to this story but I LOVE it whenever I get a chance to pick it up. This world is so great and intriguing.

Deep cleaned the house yesterday and it makes it so much easier to enjoy my books!

It‘s raining and I‘ll be curled up in our new papasan chair all day.

What is your weekend looking like? I‘m going rock climbing and reading this book!

The only thing getting me through the work day is thinking about sitting on my porch in the sun, reading.

IM SO EXCITED TO READ THIS!!!! AHHH!!! Also I‘m planning a vacation with friends who I haven‘t seen in over a year 😭😭 the end is in sight and I can‘t wait to be back with my people.

I enjoyed this so much. The mix of mystery and history was so much fun. This story has multiple narrators on different timelines and I can say I didn‘t feel like one detracted from the over all story. It‘s also a fairly quick read which is nice too. This was my March #BOTM pick and possibly my favorite so far. 5⭐️

Back home with my parents for the weekend and I cannot wait to dive into this book for the rest of the day.

My choice for my April #BOTM! It was really to choose this month. I definitely want to pick up Arsenic and Adobo sometime soon... what did you pick?

I had chills upon finishing this book. It‘s so sexy, fun, funny, steamy, and hopeful. I didn‘t want to put it down. I loved it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun witty romance.

Did some serious cleaning this morning and am hopeful to wrap up this rainy Sunday by finishing this book!! Definitely pulling me out of my slump which I appreciated.

You ever have one of those days where all you think about at work is being able to pick your book back up?? Very much looking forward to the weekend and no commutes or responsibilities. Just leggings and books.

Sitting in my car to read on my lunch breaks is one of my fave things to do. So relaxing and a great way to recenter for the rest of the work day.

Already I can tell a quippy romance was exactly what I needed for my reading slump. I can barely keep my eyes open but I want to continue reading. 🥰

I‘m hoping to get out of my reading slump with this one. I‘m so excited to read it!!

I tried I really did. But this book was such a chore. Johnson‘s themes and ideas really interested me but the execution was subpar. I really didn‘t care for the characters. I felt like I knew them in the beginning but as the story went on the characters felt more and more unlikable. Maybe I‘ll revisit because I didn‘t absolutely hate it but after a string of books I couldn‘t stop thinking about this really wore me down.

Settled into our new home in a new state and I‘ve actually had time to read and this book is growing on me.

I don‘t know if it‘s because of the move bot because of the story but I haven‘t picked this up in a week and I find myself longing for my fantasy TBRs that have already been packed up. I do think the story and perspective is an important one to hear, I just wish it pulled me in a bit more.

Finally finding time to dive into my February #BOTM pick!! Started it briefly last night after finishing Addie LaRue. It‘s fun and I feel like I know the characters personally. Contemporary Fiction is not my fave genre however.

WHEW snowstorm of the century (probably not but it‘s a lot!) So I‘m snuggling up with a book 🥰 how are you handling the snow??

I‘ve been so slow to actually read through this because WE‘RE MOVING IN 2 WEEKS!!! I‘m so excited, nervous, and anxious. This move is something we‘ve both wanted for a long time and it‘s finally happening. I‘m finally leaving my hometown and we‘re moving to Columbus OH. We found the best house in a cute neighborhood near friends. I just wish I had a little more time to read.

Working from home is extremely difficult when this book is starting me in the face... I count down the hours until I can pick it up again.
