I enjoyed the book. It was very interesting. There is some disrespect to intimacy and some stronger than necessary profanity, but I don‘t know, maybe this was indicative of the time. I liked the insight of women in positions of espionage in the time of war.

This is my most favorite book of 2020! I sometimes have a hard time reading stories of victims. I never got past the first few chapters of The Room or The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, but I love this book. What a caring, vivid writer and to hear her own voice tell the story is unforgettable.

This is an excellent audiobook. A little historical fiction and delightful characters about the traveling library. I won‘t give a spoiler but the results of the trial made me laugh out loud. I don‘t think it would have been a good if it wasn‘t in audio but still a good read. If you liked The Paris Library and The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek, then you will like this, too!

A sweet and inspirational book for young readers. Optimistic young girl from an immigrant family using anecdotal experiences to give a glimpse to challenges faced not just by her family but other minorities. She is a champion for those needing to overcome some adversity with her hope and determination. Light reading due to age of target reading but worthwhile for any age.

Great action audiobook with pirates, airships and romantic attractions. Think Kate Winslet as the heroine, as it kind of parallels Titanic-like moments.

I loved psychological thrillers and this was a good one to me. The storyline seemed familiar in many ways, but somehow the book still managed to pull off its own uniqueness. The concept of a "smart" house that watches you and learns your behavior and a handsome and successful control freak landlord makes for a good mix. There was some explicit content, but was relevant to the story line and character development.

I loved this book. Fun easy reading with a story line that made me giggle out loud. Surprises in the plot and good character development. Not a book that is life changing, but a good summer read. Excellent audiobook.

Too sad for me... but of course the book is way better than the movie.

Loved the epilogue! You never know what's going on in someone's life that has led them to be who they are.
