I've Got Your Number
I've Got Your Number: A Novel | Sophie Kinsella
Utterly charming . . . Put Sophie Kinsellas Number on speed dial.USA Today Poppy Wyatt has never felt luckier. She is about to marry her ideal man, Magnus Tavish, but in one afternoon her happily ever after begins to fall apart. Not only has she lost her engagement ring in a hotel fire drill, but in the panic that follows, her phone is stolen. As she paces shakily around the lobby, she spots an abandoned phone in a trash can. Finders keepers! Now she can leave a number for the hotel to contact her when they find her ring. Perfect! Well, perfect except that the phones owner, businessman Sam Roxton, doesnt agree. He wants his phone back and doesnt appreciate Poppy reading his messages and wading into his personal life. What ensues is a hilarious and unpredictable turn of events as Poppy and Sam increasingly upend each others lives through emails and text messages. As Poppy juggles wedding preparations, mysterious phone calls, and hiding her left hand from Magnus and his parents, she soon realizes that she is in for the biggest surprise of her life.BONUS: This edition includes an excerpt from Sophie Kinsella's Wedding Night. A rollicking page-turner . . . Its funny. Its clever. It twists and turns. . . . Sophie Kinsella has yet another winner.Fort Worth Star-Telegram Fresh, fast-paced, and fiercely funny . . . Kinsella pens her most lovably neurotic protagonist yet. . . . A laugh-out-loud comic caper.Publishers Weekly Poppy is easily as charming and daffy as shopaholic Rebecca Bloomwood.Kirkus Reviews A screwball romance for the digital age.The Star-Ledger

Sophie Kinsella is always a good choice for a quick, light read, and this was no different. Nothing super deep (and mostly predictable) but an entertaining palette cleanser 😊

I *rarely* get out of the house early on Saturday mornings, but today I have my first personal training session (eep!). It must have scrambled my brain bc I accidentally left the house without my Kindle (double eep!) and didn't realize it until I got to the subway. Luckily, the Kindle app works great for these types of emergencies, so I'm grabbing a few min of solace with my book on the Highline before popping over to the gym 😆

Leftcoastzen Looks like a beautiful morning. 8mo

Humorous and fun to read/listen. This, too, surprisingly starts with a lost engagement ring. Satisfying end.

When the MC finds a mobile phone in a rubbish bin it leads her to meddling in the owners love life and to complications in her own. Sophie Kinsella writes delightfully fluffy romantic comedies, this is no exception.

I like to make sure that I keep enough TBR books on my Kindle to keep me safe if there‘s ever a drought of books or something. 😉 Here‘s a few that I picked up on sale today. A couple of them even had an optional Audible deal attached as well. 📚 #BookHaul #BookSale #Kindle

I loaned the audiobook version for this one and I really enjoyed it. It was my first time listening to an audiobook. 🙂
It was funny, cute, and an easy read. The main character is getting married and she lost her ring and then her phone. We follow her journey to found her ring and she founds a lost phone which belongs to a company and keeps it. She then, start communicating with Sam the owner of the company lost phone.

RadicalReader @MartinaLove I adore the plot of this book truly hilarious!!! Love absolutely wonderful page turning unique books 2y

So I woke up to some exciting news this morning. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have set a date and guess when they‘re getting married? On my birthday (May 19th)! I‘m super stoked about that. In other news, this is a picture of one of my favorite books. This is hands down my favorite Sophie Kinsella book.

I've been in quite the reading funk. Everything I usually read is full of beautiful paragraphs, deep musings, and usually a little despair. My roomie came to the rescue with a few books I wouldn't have pickedm

So last night I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning finishing this fun, wonky gem. It was the perfect escape from all of my real world problems.

I really need to remember that reading is supposed to be fun, not a struggle.

There were many times during the reading of this book that I wanted to just stop reading. I could NOT identify with the main character and she consistently made decisions that I would cringe about. However, I am glad I stuck it out. This book had my requisite happy ending and I wish there was a sequel!
