My new #commutereading. It the first in a trilogy that tells the story immediately after The Return of the Jedi. The war for freedom isn't over. The writing leaves quite a bit to be desired but the plot is good and, once it gets into the story, quite engaging. I'm approximately 9 hours in, with another 3 left. The other books are also 12-15 hours long each.

Another amazing book. I may be addicted to Gaiman. I don't want to give anything away, but it is a magical, painful, beautiful story.

Put my 3 year old on a bus for the first time to go to preschool this morning, so this was a nice distraction while driving to work. I love the way Gaiman weaves his narrative. Helps to have him reading it I think 😀 #commutereading #mylittleboysgrowingup

I love this collection. I did have to skip the story set in the American Gods universe, but I'll go back to that one if I ever get to American Gods. The stories wander from surprising (The Thing About Cassaundra) to chilling (The Truth is a Cave in the Black Mountains). He channels the Doctor Who (Nothing O'Clock) and Sherlock Holmes (The Case of Death and Honey) universes with great ease and authenticity. I loved every second of listening to it.
