If book 2 was a bridge, this one is a destination. I loved every second of this, and it was very difficult to put down. Real cliffhanger, good thing I have the fourth one waiting at home! I'm not sure why I like Ethan so much, but he's captivating. He's a stand in for the reader in this strange world, but also so clearly defined in his own way

A bit of a departure from the first book, but done well. I love my boy Ethan so getting more of his development was nice. This second book expands the world and acts as a bridge to further storytelling. Already excited to read the third. P.S. I read this in 2018 whoops

Reading chapters in between writing sections of my research paper today. There's a lot more of creative writing in science than you might think 😉

I absolutely adored this book. The characters were lovable, the idea of abstract things like reflections and dreams disappearing every 7 years is captivating, and the pacing is nice. The author gave me just enough time to settle into a new idea to where I felt comfortable and then threw in something new and exciting! So glad I found this on my elibrary.

If I was ever asked for a theme that encompassed the Harry Potter series, I would say it is love. Thanks so much Harry, for all those years you've spent with me.
