I‘m doing my first buddy read ever with this book!
Doctor Sleep was actually my first Stephen King novel. I picked up Doctor Sleep on a whim one day while browsing a bookstore. I had no idea this was a sequel to The Shining, so you can imagine I was a bit lost reading it. I absolutely loved this book and couldn‘t put it down I was extremely happy with my spontaneous purchase. Doctor Sleep is definitely on my re-read shelf it‘s been years since I read it!
Second audiobook of the year. Group listening Swan Song with Horror Aficionados on Goodreads.
Has anyone read or listened to Swan Song? Thoughts?
Reading is an escape from reality. When times get tough I know I can get lost in my book and forget for a while. Reading is special to me because it has helped me through some tough times 🥰. Thank you @LazyDays for this #giveaway #litsylove19
My Inspirational Nonfiction pick for #wraithreads2019 is Becoming!
Michelle is an incredible and humble human being. She is smart, passionate, confident, and actually relatable. She doesn‘t bore you with the nitty gritty of politics. Her book is just about a girl growing up, getting through life‘s obstacles, and becoming a woman.

Have you read ‘Becoming‘? What are your thoughts?

What is your first read of 2019?
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
2019 is finally here. New reading resolutions, new book clubs, read-a-thons, challenges, group reads, new username (😉) new TBR, SO many new book releases! I‘m stoked for 2019.
I‘ve had BirdBox on my TBR for a long while now with the intentions on reading it before the movie came out...and of course that didn‘t happen 🤣.
So I finally picked up my own copy to read in 2019. It‘s so hard to not give into watching the movie but I AM STRONG AND DEDICATED.
.
Am I the only one who absolutely needs to read a book before watching the movie???
Last Book Haul of 2018!

One of my resolutions for 2019 is buying less books, reading more of what I own, doing more book trades, and reading all my gifted ARCs.
Next Year in Havana has done for me what no other book has. From the first few pages, I was breathless. I fell in love instantly. I felt connected to my culture, related to every character, and felt like I was reading my own experience going to Cuba. After finishing this novel, I cried and started reading it again. This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster and I loved every second of it. #favoriteof2018
I loved this! I watched the first season of Jessica Jones with no background knowledge of Jessica Jones and enjoyed it. I finally decided to pick up the comic and enjoyed it 1000000% more. I will definitely continue reading Jessica Jones graphics.

I'm still gushing over Paper Girls.
While, I'm normally not a fan of Sci-Fi, I actually fell in love with this graphic novel and I can't wait to pick up the rest of the volumes.
The illustrations, the colors, the characters, the story line everything about Paper Girls, I loved.
All 4 girls have their own personalities and they are a great team. They are very mature for their age but they are smart, witty and bad-ass.
