Lots of action. Rhyme and Sach find their 2 cases are actually the same, involving someone committing murder by overriding the software in all kinds of mechanical devices. An interesting twist toward the end too.

Mowing through books I‘ve not read in the Lincoln Rhymes series. The sparkle has tarnish a bit from the first few books in the series. This one is a solid meh. It still has Deaver‘s usual delicious twisty reveal. I may have not loved the new characters or felt a deep hatred for the unsub, but finished this book in a day.
Not as good as February but it's been a busy month.... thinking April won't be as good since I'm busy every single weekend! #bookloverproblems
This book wrapped up today on Barnes & Noble Readouts, and it is hands down the best book I have read on Readouts so far. 12th in a series, but that didn't take away from my ability to follow the crime mystery. Very smart, with interesting and likable characters. I want to know more about them, so I will probably start this series from the beginning at some point. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The full book is available to read for free in the B&N app through 3/31! 😃
This month's free read on Barnes and Noble Readouts. First two chapters definitely got my attention. 👍
Great day in South Dakota-the annual book festival featured a favorite writer-Jeffrey Deaver! Here's my sis with him...sadly I wasn't around when it was taken. But we both loved his most recent book Steel Kiss! There were many authors to enjoy, including Anne Perry and Jane Smiley.
I've read several in this series (Lincoln Rhyme). This one is my favorite. Moves fast, creates suspicion, and presents riddles to solve on several levels.
Book was good. Rhyme and Sachs are there, as are a host of other regulars and a few new ones. It starts with a horrifyingly realistic encounter with an escalator and the thrill ride continues from there.
