Inspiring New Novel from the "Biggest Name in Amish Fiction"Eva Esch and her sisters are in a predicament. With the passing of their widowed mother, Eva's older brother Menno plans to move his growing family into the Eden Valley farmhouse where they all grew up, leaving little room for his three single sisters. Surely, Menno reasons, at least one of them will marry this coming wedding season. Eva does hope to marry, but she isn't sure she wants to give up her sweet shop for the life of a farmer's wife, and she has no other prospects. When younger sister, Lily, disappears in the night, leaving only a brief note, Eva fears she has been wooed away from the People by an outsider. And when Jed Stutzman, a young Amish buggy maker from Ohio, shows up in Lancaster with a photo of a Plain young woman, Eva's world begins to tilt. She feels powerfully drawn to the quietly charming stranger--but the woman in the forbidden photograph is no stranger at all. . . .

🖤 Day Three! 🖤

My favorite author is this wonderful woman. Beverly Lewis is one of the kindest most inspiring women I‘ve ever met in my life. I‘ve read almost every book she‘s written, and have fallen in love with Amish and Mennonite culture and customs because of her. 10/10 recommend her books!
(The other wonderful woman pictured on the right is my mom! Who let me miss school for this signing 2 years ago!)

This is the picture that I use as my #LitsyAvatar / #LitsyProfilePic. It's me and my oldest dude when he was a couple months old. A good friend took it and it's one of my favourites. Having a picture of me reading seemed to make sense for Litsy.

Loving everyone's posts, what a great way to get to know each other a little bit better! Great idea @Chelleo

Since the majority of my books are Kindle-bound, here's the only one I have for the #FallTitles #photochallenge. 😔 But it's a great one by a favorite author, and I ❤️ the book jacket! 😊❤️

Thanks @Jess7

Bookquilter I this was my first Pilcher novel.... it was on a table in the high school library. Devoured every thing else she had written soon after. 7y
robinb @Bookquilter I was the same way, but it was The Shell Seekers that started it all for me. 😍 It's been YEARS since I've read them....a re-read is definitely in order. I always hesitate on re-reads of books that I remember as being my absolute favorites...I guess I'm worried they won't feel the same?? But I have a feeling hers will stand the test of time. 🙌 7y
