This picture book biography was such a page turner! With fun word bubbles for more details and awesome illustrations, this book was not just fun to look at but full of information! Brad Meltzer portrays Jackie not just as a spotless hero and ball player, but as a kid who didn‘t always have food, didn‘t always make good choices, and had to preserver through fear in order to make history. I will be keeping an eye out for more of these gems!

This is the second book in the 'Ordinary People Change the World' series I've read. I can't recommend them highly enough. The drawings are great, the history is well researched, and it's inspiring for both children and adults. Lovely books!
This particular book mentions that they had help from Jackie's daughter, Sharon, to ensure they did her father's story justice. ❤️
