So it turns out that #fairytaleretellings are just not my thing. Thankfully I found this one in the post-Thanksgiving cleanup. No idea who's missing it, but whoever it belongs to saved me from abject failure in today's #photoadaynov16 challenge!

This is a series I have loved from the beginning. Smart, resourceful, no-nonsense princess, perfectly capable of saving herself thank you very much! I think this one is the funniest of the three in the series so far.

"Yep," said Harriet. "Not gonna lie. If I had to live here, I'd go evil in a week. I'd be building an army of giant spider-chickens and saying things like, 'No, Mr. Wilbur, I expect you to die, muahahaha."
