Terrific addition to my favorite series! New characters, new villains, new plots. Same awesome. Series is best enjoyed in order (start with Touched by an Alien), but I think the series keeps getting better every year.

Outstanding! I did not expect to LAUGH so much when I started this book. The "voice" of the characters is fantastic. Perfect teen/YA story.

MarriedtoMrT I love this one, too! Looking forward to more by the author. 7y

GREAT middle grade story - told by the dog - about a dog who can't get certified as a service dog but finds an autistic boy who needs him. The subplot with Chester's trainer is a little odd but the Chester and Gus parts are fantastic.

Very fun! Great mashup of Star Trek/Star Wars/Firefly type fandom and classic Cinderella - with a little You've Got Mail thrown in. Terrific!

Moving story of family and mental illness for kids. The evolution of Molly's OCD felt genuine and my heart just broke for her, looking for help but not knowing how to find it.

This was a treat! Smart and funny. The writing is sharp. Friday is a terrific, quirky character - a little Sherlockian in her crime solving. Several mysteries in this one story. Can't wait to read book 2!

Fantastic addition to my favorite series. Lots of action. Great developments in the ongoing series plot lines. This is a series that HAS to be read in order. And for those who have read the earlier books, this will be a very satisfying addition.

Outstanding! I loved Izzy! She marches to her own beat and stays true to herself. The charm school challenges are great, even though nothing goes as planned. A delightful story about being true to yourself.

I had no idea this was 15th in a series when I picked it up. I felt no lag in the reading while I tried to figure out who was who. I was engrossed right from the start. The mystery was smart, the main character is funny, and I now have to add the first 14 books to my TBR!

My son did some school work at the library today, giving me enough time to read this delightful story in verse. The story is simple but the themes of identity and acceptance are exceptionally well done - especially in a book with so few words!

Re-read the last four books of this awesome sci-if/mystery/suspense/romance series so I am ready for the new release December 6. This is my go to series when I want to read something I know I will love or when I want to read about a strong main character who doesn't take any crap!

Didn't love this as much as I did the first one. The angst at the core of the story makes this one a bit more work. But there were several hilarious moments and some nice deeper ones too. It helps to have read the first one to understand the history, but super fans of the first have expressed some disappointment with this one. I liked it and I'm glad I read it.

Awesome! I love the characters in this series and I thought the mystery in this one was great! For me this was a book that was all fun and no work. Didn't matter that it had been a year since I read the last one, didn't take any time for me to warm up to the story. It was a perfect read for me.

This is a series I have loved from the beginning. Smart, resourceful, no-nonsense princess, perfectly capable of saving herself thank you very much! I think this one is the funniest of the three in the series so far.

Great addition to this series (#3). The characters really pulled me in right away. There are a LOT of people to keep track of in this book, but it's all worth it. I loved the mystery as well as the ongoing storylines for the characters.

Wow! That's probably not a very helpful review but that's what I want to put. Wow! This was fantastic. Each sister has a clear identity and each part of the story works to bring them closer and closer to the final contest that will leave two dead and one queen. The wait for book two will be painful...

It's been a long time since I liked a book enough to post a Litsy review. Then I read The Scourge! I loved this. My quick connection to the characters reminded me of how I felt about the characters in The False Prince series (by this author). The plot was fantastic and I stayed up far past my bedtime to finish it. So worth it!

This was amazingly good! Typical middle school student, typical middle school topics. But Noah's older sister is struggling and it starts to impact all the characters in significant ways. I don't want to give anything away, but it's very honest and doesn't sugar coat the impact of mental health issues on the whole family.
