beginning “ the rooftops are gray. The whole city is gray.”
What I liked “ and rooftops, grow lighter, and lighter. The rooftops are white.”
This book was very relatable in giving up on something you once liked because you failed. This book would teach students to keep doing the things you love and learn to keep working at it even if you are scared

#MusicalNewYear Day 16: The setting of the picture book was 120 years ago during the height of the artiste-culturati scene in Paris - very #LaVieBoheme. Mirette was at the very heart of it all as acrobats, mimes, artists, jugglers gather from all over the globe and congregate in her mother‘s, Madame Gateau‘s, boardinghouse on English Street, believed to be the best place to stay at the time.
