The Summon Stone
The Summon Stone: The Gates of Good and Evil, Book One | Ian Irvine
2 posts | 2 read
The Merdrun, cruel warriors blooded by thousands of years of slaughter, are gathering in the void between the worlds. Their long-hidden summon stone is waking, corrupting good people as well as bad, and turning arcane places into magically polluted wastelands. If it is not destroyed it will create a portal and call the Merdrun through. In a nightmare, a nine-year-old girl sees the Merdrun leader - and he sees her. If Karan and Llian are to save their daughter and their world, they must find a way to stop the greatest warrior in the void.

Aargh! No, only 3?!? Err I'll go with Ian Irvine to escape into the amazing worlds he creates, Charles Dickens so I can rediscover his books again and Jane Green for some lighter reads (Jemima J will always be a fav)

Pickpick

Returning to the characters from The View from the Mirror series 10 years after was fantastic. I loved this book and was swept back into this world where I feel at home. This story sees the characters caught up in an invasion from another world by powerful cruel mancers. Will they reach the Summon Stone intime to stop an invasion whilst fighting the demons of their past?
