Started this the other day and I'm hooked. Already on Part 3 and I very much want to punch a character in the face. The rage I feel over a fictional character is comical.

Has anyone else read this? What are your thoughts?

I Was A Teenage Slasher | Stephen Graham Jones

so-so

Unpopular opinion. I wanted to like this book. I was so excited to read it when I received it in my #Staycation package but definitely it didn‘t work for me😬So repetitive, how many times he said was a slasher? That he shouldn‘t go to that party? and if you forget, it happened in 1989, this was mentioned over and over. So many unnecessary details🙄 rambling story🤦🏽‍♀️I almost DNF. I should sympathize with the character? I was bored 2⭐️

Where to start? My #staycation is starting out fantastic. I‘m watching the Olympics and enjoying my box of wonderment. The brooches are just an amazing touch; I collect them, and I don‘t have anything similar! The bag is perfection, I haven‘t read either book and can‘t wait to do so, and the towels! I‘ll use the swim towel soon, and the tea towels are so special. I use a new one weekly on my bedside table. @DinoMom @Chrissyreadit 🔽

MittenGirlPeach I absolutely love bread, and I always have a baguette on hand, so the cloth bags are just great. The charcuterie board, the personal touches (the wax seals!) and your wonderful letter—it really made for the loveliest swap. J‘adore! (edited) 8mo

Gissy Am I absentminded? Yes! I thought I posted the picture of what I received in the box😳That‘s why I didn‘t understand why @Captivatedbybooks asked if everything arrived okay🤦🏽‍♀️I took the picture, thought I posted it then deleted from my photo library. Now I saw I didn‘t posted it so I took another picture. What I am going to do with myself😳😂😂😂😂

My staycation started after work today. So I found all the books I want to read

I own the books on the left and that‘s 19 books
On the right are my prioritized library books and that‘s 10 books. I currently has 23 books out

So for 23 days off work, I got 29 books, needless to say I won‘t get to everyone

This doesn‘t include my current reads (A Flat Place & Caledonian Road) or buddy reads (Nancy Drew, Shardlake & Sherlock Holmes)
