#bookspin for March is x 5 short stories… this one was whimsical and strange but I liked it!
The short stories in this read like folktales- but with a bit of a twist. For example, some were narrated by demons. Overall, I liked this book and want to try reading some of Singer's novels.

Reading a book of short stories set in communities that are lost forever, but #AllIsNotLost in our time yet.
#Booktober : #awardwinning - This short story collection has been on my to-read list for really long time. Isaac Bashevis Singer won the Nobel Prize in literature in 1978. He wrote in Yiddish and interestingly, the English translator of the title story in the collection, Saul Bellows was also a Nobel laureate- he won the prize in literature in 1976. #Jewlit
