I finally finished the prompt for Bottom of my TBR. This has been on my goodreads TBR since 2017...

It was okay. The world was interesting and different but I wasn‘t really that into it. I‘m okay not continuing the series.

A good read. It took me awhile to really get into the world-building (and STILL not sure I completely "got" everything), but the characters grow on you, and there's tons of action! I never knew what new fantasy element would crop up next. Since there are 5 books in the series, I'm sure there's lots more bizarreness to show up. I'll definitely try the next one! 4/5 ?

Up next, @AmandaL recommended the second book in this series (Darkness Calls) so I thought I'd backtrack and start with the first one. It drives me crazy 😜 not to start at the beginning of a series! 😂
