pickThis book was pretty fun to read. The narration was kind of different and very conversational; I'd compare it to an oral history report. It's was also pretty funny and I found some parts too hilarious and cute.
Overall, I liked the fluffy feel of the book. It was equal parts hilarious and cute.

bailedThe WHOLE book is written in this interview style. I can't do it. I can't connect to the characters with this style of writing and it takes me out of the story.

pickLaugh out loud funny at times, this is teen contemporary at its best. Avery can accurately be compared to Cher from Clueless. Pretty, popular, caring but not always realizing how her actions affect others. The format is different from any book I've read, an oral history of Avery's dating life she interviews friends, enemies, and ex-boyfriends alike. The quick snippets keep the pace moving and Avery's editorials keep it cohesive. Highly recommend!
